Since the unprecedented Covid-19 crisis started to affect Prima Cheese Ltd and the whole of the UK, we started to take immediate measures to safeguard the health of our staff and to ensure that we were able to continue to run Operations.

As the situation has continued to change rapidly, Prima adapted and made arrangements for the office staff to work remotely; however, not all staff have this option due to the nature of our work, and as Prima are an essential business with key workers, we put a plan together following all the health and safety measures to remain doing what we do best – Processing cheese.

This has only been possible, thanks to a key number of employees in departments such as Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Transport, Engineering, Credit Control and Health & Safety.

These individuals have been working on the frontline throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, playing an integral part in helping to feed the nation in isolation.

The Directors wanted to send their special thanks to these staff members by giving them a THANK YOU BONUS in their April Pay.
